Spreading Rumours With Fleetwood Mac!


Rumours was the 11th studio release for Fleetwood Mac and is one of the biggest albums of the seventies. To date it has sold over 40 million copies since its release in February 1977. During the decade, it managed to spend 31 weeks at number one in the U.S. charts and almost a year in the top 5.In the UK spent 450 weeks listed in the charts.

The album produced 4 hit singles,”You Can You Go Your own Way”, “Don’t Stop”,”You Make Loving Fun” and “Dreams”.

It was also the second album featuring its most famous line up-Fleetwood, Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, McVie and Christine McVee. It’s songwriting focused mainly on the relationships between the members..despite this the band held together, presenting one of the most important albums ever released, receiving the accolade of the 25th greatest album of all time, chosen by Rolling Stone and a Grammy for Album Of The Year.
